Hi, I'm Stephanie, Mark's oldest daughter. Today was supposed to be a day for answers, but it didn't end up working out exactly that way. The radiologist who specializes in reading heart MRIs was out, so a different radiologist read the MRI. The opinion of that radiologist was the open heart surgery would not resolve the damage done to my dad's heart. The surgeon isn't satisfied with this answer, so the heart radiologist will read the MRI tomorrow so that we can have a real answer. We appreciate your continued prayers!!
